Thank you so much for taking a little time out of your day to check out my Daily Good Start. I hope it makes you feel inspired, motivated and maybe just a little silly.
A few years ago, I worked this fun tour for Nintendo Wii Fit Plus. Our events were staffed with professional yoga instructors that would show people how to use the Wii and let them know the benefits of Wii Fit Plus. All across the USofA, I met these really cool yoga instructors, but the one that made the biggest impact on me was this Swedish grandma named Christina, she was 72 years old. I wish I could find the pictures that I took of Christina, but I had images of her doing insane ABSOLUTELY INSANE poses. Poses that made me uncomfortable just looking at them and even slightly nauseous. Since (to me) she was the cool kid in class, I wanted to learn all about her life and have her help me with poses. I could go on, but the moral of the story is that she was really cool and age meant nothing. She was quick to brag that she could do poses at 72 years old that (well people my age) thought were impossible.
This picture I found online made me think of Christina.
HOW POWERFUL ARE THESE GRAPHS?
What's that one thing that you use the excuse "I'm too old to do that?". Whatever it is, write it down, write down why it means so much for you to do it, write down how you would feel if you accomplished it and then envision yourself actually doing that very thing.
There's a reason for that desire. There's a reason that desire has never left you after all these years.
